Why choose Signlet?

Signlet has been designed by experienced landlords for all landlords, but it is particularly useful for landlords with a small portfolio. Like Ryanair, we excel at the core service: establishing a tenancy, making sure it is compliant with current legislation, and helping landlords collect rent with very low fees.

Low cost does not mean cheap

A £5 setup fee and a 0.1% rent-collection commission are deliberately competitive. That does not mean the service is cut-corner. Ryanair's safety record is second to none because the airline treats the non-negotiable parts of flying as non-negotiable. We treat tenancy compliance, deposit protection, e-signatures and dispute records the same way.

Everything that needs to be legally sound is legally sound. The low price comes from stripping out the overheads that traditional letting agents pass on to landlords: high-street offices, percentage-based rent collection and bundled services you may not want.

What £5 actually gets you

For a single £5 setup fee, a landlord can create a compliant assured periodic tenancy agreement, invite the tenant to review and e-sign it, and store a tamper-evident audit trail. There is no monthly platform charge and no minimum contract.

Rent collection is charged at 0.1% of each payment to the landlord, so on a £650 monthly rent the fee is just 65p. The rent itself goes directly from tenant to landlord.

  • A fully compliant periodic tenancy agreement, tailored to the property and parties.
  • Built-in e-signature and a downloadable signed PDF with full audit trail.
  • A secure, documented communication channel between landlord and tenant.
  • Access to a five-stage dispute resolution process if something goes wrong.

Built by landlords, for landlords

The features exist because working landlords need them, not because they look good in a sales deck. Deposit protection reminders, rent collection tracking, and a message history that can be exported if a dispute reaches adjudication are all there because a private landlord actually has to deal with them.

We keep customers first, minimise cost where we can, and make the process as simple as possible. If Signlet saves you money and gives you and your tenants a safe, simple way to manage your tenancy, it has done its job.
