For landlords

Everything between finding a tenant and a live tenancy.

Signlet is a transaction room, not a property-management suite. It covers the part that is fiddly and legally exposed: the agreement, the signatures, the deposit, the first payment and the record of what was said.

How a tenancy runs

  1. 01

    Add the property

Address, type, bedrooms and furnishing — once, then reuse it.

  2. 02

    Draft the agreement

Use the compliant assured periodic tenancy wording and add your own terms.

  3. 03

    Send it to your tenant

They review the exact document in their own account.

  4. 04

    Both sign online

Signatures are timestamped and stored against the tenancy.

  5. 05

    Deposit protected

Collect the bond and lodge it with TDS or DPS, reference recorded.

  6. 06

    Rent lands monthly

Every payment receipted for both sides, with a running ledger.

Statutory guardrails built in

The builder checks the deposit against the five-week cap and prompts for scheme protection within 30 days.

A defensible paper trail

Every message is timestamped and role-labelled, and the whole thread downloads as a transcript if you ever need it.

Feedback that travels

Rate your tenant at the end of the tenancy, and carry your own landlord rating into the next one.

What Signlet is not

It is not a listings portal, a full property-management system or a referencing agency. If you want those, keep using them — Signlet handles the transaction and the record, and stays out of everything else.
